Arshara Finance Completes Google Play Closed Testing — One Step from Launch
We're happy to share some good news: Arshara Finance has successfully completed its Google Play closed testing period. Over the required testing window, a group of real testers used the app day to day, and their feedback confirmed the app is stable, useful, and ready for a wider audience.
We have now applied to Google for production access — the final step before the app becomes publicly available on the Play Store.
What is closed testing, and why does it matter?
Before a new app can be published to everyone on Google Play, Google requires it to be tested by a small group of real users for a minimum period. This helps ensure apps are genuinely tested and working before they reach the public — protecting users from low-quality or unsafe apps.
Arshara Finance met and completed that requirement in full.
What we tested
During closed testing, our testers used the app the way a normal user would, covering the core features:
- Accounts — creating accounts and setting their currencies
- Transactions — adding income, expenses, and transfers
- Dashboard — tracking net worth and income vs. expense at a glance
- Reports — category breakdowns and account activity
- Sign-in — both email and Google sign-in
Usage was steady throughout the testing period and matched how we'd expect a real user to track their daily finances.
What testers told us
Feedback was collected through the testing provider's reports and in-app channels. Overall, the response was positive: testers found the app easy to use and stable, with no crashes in the final build.
A few minor interface suggestions came up during the period, and these have been noted for future updates.
What we fixed along the way
Testing isn't just about confirmation — it's about improvement. Based on tester feedback, we made fixes to the Accounts screen and the Add Transaction form, and improved navigation and display consistency across devices. Every issue raised during testing was resolved before the period ended.
What happens next
Google reviews production access applications and typically responds within 7 days. Once approved, Arshara Finance will move out of closed testing and become available to everyone on Google Play.
In the meantime, Arshara Finance is already available to use through the web — free, with no ads and no subscriptions.

Closed testing was the last major checkpoint before launch. With a successful testing period behind us and production access requested, Arshara Finance is now one step away from being publicly available on Android — and we can't wait to get it into more hands.
